Wage Awards changes you need to know

If you employ staff, you will be aware that each year the FairWork Ombudsman releases the new wage award rates at the end of the financial year.
Pay rates change from 1 July each year. Please find below the link to PAY GUIDE – HAIR AND BEAUTY INDUSTRY AWARD (MA000005) that presents the updated rates applicable after 01 July 2023.
This Guide will provide you with information about the definition and operation of allowances, penalties, and overtime can be found in the award and the Pay and Conditions Tool.
