What exactly is Bergamot? We explore the scientific benefits to your client’s skin.

Did you know that bergamot is a natural cleanser? It’s especially beneficial for oily skin, as it helps to clear pores and control sebum production.

When it comes to the skin bergamot oil has several benefits. For example, several compounds in bergamot oil have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. This makes bergamot oil useful; for acne prone conditions that are not sensitive. The bacterium tested were:

· Staphylococcus aureus

· Listeria monocytogenes

· Bacillus cereus

· E. coli O157

· Campylobacter jejuni

Study findings suggested that bergamot essential oil may be effective when used against these types of bacteria.

Bergamot is known to exhibit nootropic effect. Nootropics are a classification of smart drugs that are considered cognitive enhances.

These substances provide a range of benefits that allow for increased mental performance, endurance, balance, and even higher levels of awareness and creativity.
