CURRENTLY, 1-in-3 Australians will suffer from eczema during their lifetime and this number is increasing. If you believe you can help by providing support and solutions here is an excellent opportunity for you to gain referrals.

The Eczema Association of Australasia Inc (EAA) is a national organisation that is committed to supporting and educating eczema sufferers and carers, along with the wider community in all aspects of eczema and its impact. It is the only organisation of its kind in Australia and is a valuable source of knowledge and advice on a wide range of issues associated with the management and treatment of eczema.

The EAA also supports Health Practitioners by having somewhere to refer eczema sufferers for ongoing information and support. They produce a brochure ‘Caring for your Eczema’ and a magazine ‘Eczema Quarterly’ which are supplied free to practitioners along with educational posters for their patients and their clients.

In November last year, APAN approached EAA to introduce our members and their services and establish a Referral Program of practitioners and businesses who believe they can provide support for eczema sufferers through their services.

The EAA has a good working relationship with Australian and international Dermatologists, Natural Therapists and other Medical practitioners, Pharmaceutical companies, Political representatives from various parties, as well as many companies who manufacture products which may be of benefit to eczema sufferers. Now through APAN, this list will extend to include Aestheticians and Dermal therapists and members of our professional community.

If you believe you can assist members of AEE with your products or services and wish to be added to our ECZEMA REFERRAL PROGRAM through this alliance please access the online Application Form. This is a great opportunity to gain new clients. There is a small once-only fee of $25 to cover admin costs, but this Referral list will be included on both our website as well as the AEE website so members of the community and their families can access you for your services.
