Insights into Living by Design

Each one of us faces challenges on a regular basis and at that point we have a choice – to either allow them to overwhelm us and quit, or to choose to learn the lesson and move on.

The real test is not whether we can avoid failure, because we often won’t. It’s whether we let it harden, intimidate, or discourage us into inaction, or whether we learn from it, and choose to persevere.

Here’s the thing – no matter what life throws at you, when the voice and the vision on the inside is more profound, and more clear and loud than all opinions on the outside, then you begin to master your life.
One of the most worthwhile things you can do is to identify what are your values at the core of who you are. You will identify these by what excites you and is important to you. What can’t you live without? Is it solving problems for others? Is it bringing out the beauty in others? Is it bringing a new level of high standards to your work? By discovering what you are passionate about is where you will discover your values.

Once you have identified these, define what you want to achieve in your life and business and set your goals around a clearly outlined plan and vision to achieve them.

If you are really struggling at certain tasks these are clearly areas that are not on your highest values, so if possible, delegate these tasks to someone who can thrive on them and focus on what energizes you. This is where you will release your genius and hard work will be so much easier for you. When your work and your values are aligned you will get both fulfilment and joy in your life and your productivity with be greatly increased.

Don’t feel that you have to be like everyone else to succeed. Be true to yourself! You were made to stand out not blend with the crowd.
