Further to APAN’S discussion with the Victorian Health Department Coronavirus helpline on Tuesday 26th April, we wish to confirm the following.
As of Friday 22nd APRIL, mask mandates have been eased and are no longer required for a client to visit a salon or clinic.
Depending on the procedure you perform, especially with skin penetration procedures, practitioners should still wear a mask.
Additionally, proof of vaccination for clients visiting a salon is also no longer required. However, staff and management providing the service are still required to be fully vaccinated.
Please use the above statement as a formal confirmation of these changes.
