Julia Melamed is an entrepreneur, business leader and sought-after trainer who has extensive experience in what it takes to make a business successful. She is a Managing Director, Partner and Chairperson across four different companies.
Julia also holds a diplomatic position as the Honorary Consul of Haiti in Australia, the Honorary Secretary position of GRULAC Victoria (a diplomatic alliance of a group of Latin American and Caribbean Counties) and the Honorary Consuls Representative position at the Consular Corps in Victoria.
Emigrating to Australia with her family at the age of 15 was a culture shock that stirred Julia’s understanding of the world. However, this experience helped her gain a deeper appreciation of multicultural Australia, helping her develop negotiation strategies to effectively overcome barriers and meet the many professional and personal challenges ahead of her.
Over the years, her experiences have shaped her life according to her own roadmap and, importantly, through the premise of her own global perspective.
After graduating from high school, Julia studied Business, Computer Science, Naturopathy, Social Studies, Psychology, Dermal Therapies and various alternative healing modalities.
Early in her career, Julia purposefully moved through a variety of roles across different industries.
In 2003, she knew it was time to venture out on her own and she launched her first clinic.
Over the years she became the architect of numerous business ventures and charity projects in Sri Lanka and Haiti.
Julia’s strong business acumen is borne from an incredible work ethic, unyielding courage and resilience and an in-depth understanding of the business world.
She cites the global move towards sustainable living focusing on effective strategies to build community as the priority and is ready to take on the challenges that this brings.
